It's Been A Long Time Coming But Barstool Chicago Has Finally Arrived

I'm not even remotely joking when I say this is one of the most prestigious honors and awards I've ever seen anyone receive. Academy Awards, Nobel Prizes, however many daytime Emmy's Jeff D. Lowe has and now this: in-store promotional assets from Jewel-Osco featuring our Instagram Account getting playing time on the r/chicago thread. I'm so impressed with the Jewel(s) executive marketing team hawking the online message boards for new ways to promote their crispy, crunch world famous fried chicken. The fact this is the guy behind everything is even more funny:

Danny loves grocery store poultry. Whether it's a full rotisserie or a half order of tenders or a mixed light/dark bucket of the original recipe. You can always count on Danny to have a qualified opinion about a grocery store's quality of bird and he's always said Jewel(s) is the best. Some times he'll just start the argument with you just to stay sharp on his talking points. His passion and enthusiasm is virtually unmatched. 

To see his social media work repurposed at the pleasure of the Jewel(s) suits has to be a career achievement. He really has waited his entire life for this moment and now it's finally here. Without exaggeration this is probably the best publicity we've ever received and that includes the time Dave Portnoy had a viral breakdown in our Farmer's Insurance closet office and now we're getting a new office. 

Even with the new spot coming I still think being the fried chicken guys for Jewel(s) carries a lot more weight around town. Anyone can cut a check, but can you wield enough power to validate a Chicago institution?
