Britney Spears Finally Breaks Her Silence In An Absolutely WILD Court Appearance, Slams Her Father And "Abusive Conservatorship"

Source - Britney Spears has spoken. The 39-year-old pop star broke her silence and addressed the court herself Wednesday for the first known time in more than two years following the increased interest in her conservatorship after the release of the New York Times' "Framing Britney Spears" documentary and the #FreeBritney movement, by her fans.

Real quick before we get into the details because there are a lot of them...Britney Spears has been in a conservatorship controlled by her father since 2008 after she suffered a mental breakdown. Meaning that her dad, Jamie Spears, "manages" virtually every aspect of her life including her career, her finances, her legal team, and even certain aspects of her health. Up until today, Britney has largely denied any issues with her father/conservatorship while simultaneously playing down the #FreeBritney movement made popular by the Netflix documentary, Framing Britney Spears. Which was apparently a huge lie because today she said this...

"I’m not here to be anyone’s slave," Spears said while appearing in Los Angeles court remotely via telephone. "I’ve lied and told the whole world I’m okay and I'm happy. It's a lie. I thought that maybe if I said it enough, I would maybe become happy because I've been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized … I’m so angry it’s insane. And I'm depressed."

No longer holding back, Spears continued: "I truly believe this conservatorship is abusive … I don't feel like I can live a full life … I want this conservatorship to end without having to be evaluated."

“A lot has happened since two years ago, the last time I was in court,” Spears said Wednesday. “I haven’t been back to court because I don’t think I was heard on any level when I came to court last time."

She also alleges that her conservator (father) WON'T LET HER REMOVE AN IUD to have more children...

Spears claimed Wednesday that her conservators have complete control over her and her body, going as far as saying that her conservators won’t let her remove an Intrauterine Device to have children. The singer sons Sean, 15, and Jayden, 14, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

“I want to be able to get married and have a baby,” she said during the hearing. “I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby. I have a IUD inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant.”

She continued: “I wanted to take the ID out so I can start trying to have another baby but this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don’t want me to have any more children.”

How fucked up is that? Your own father telling you what can and can't go inside your body? Who you can and can't marry? Whether or not you can have children, the money you can spend, the people you can hang out with. Where and when you can work and with whom. (I'm not sure I used "whom" correctly but it sounds great.) The entire situation blows my mind and hopefully it'll come to an end soon. I feel like the courts can't ignore it anymore. Time will tell, but for now one thing remains true… #FreeBritney. #FreeBritney. #FreeBritney. Support the movement HERE
