Tonight Will Be NYC's Last 7pm Sunset Until March 2022, Eternal Darkness Is Upon Us

Cool, alright! The last 7pm sunset is tonight! Not to mention NYC is just one big raincloud today, so we won't even see it anyway. Why do we have to make announcements like this? "Hey guys, the daylight is slipping away from us more and more everyday before we are plunged into the seemingly eternal darkness of winter. Just an FYI!" 

I can see with my own eyeballs. I know when the sun goes away. I don't want to have to wake up and see "hey, it's a short ass day today, Sad Girl Hours are bumped up early, you should spend the rest of the day dreading it!" We all know that daylight savings time exists. Why does it exist? Ask the fuckin' farm boys out in the midwest. They're the ones who need to know this information for their crops, or whatever. I, a metropolitan woman who already gets a very limited amount of sunlight on a daily basis, do not to be reminded that life is somehow slipping away at both a glacial pace and as fast as (googles) a Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. Some things don't need to be pointed out. Let me forget.
