Boston.com - On the inside, a set of bathrooms at Emerson College looks like standard fare. On the outside, there are newfangled signs to ease the concerns of students who prefer not to signal that they are entering a men's or women's bathroom. Emerson's changes, made in preparation for the upcoming school year, mirror moves by Tufts University and the University of Vermont, part of a small but growing number of universities modifying policies and facilities on behalf of transgender students.  "This will bring more equal opportunities to the students of Emerson," said Jessica Ganon, a junior at Emerson who campaigned with fellow students to get the school to provide the gender-neutral bathrooms. "I am much happier that this makes life easier for others. I felt sorry for those who felt unsure of where to go."

Listen I have nothing against “transgender” students. This is the same thing as a transsexual right? Anyway I could care less if a broad wants to become a man and vice versa.   I mean whatever floats your boat.   But I do have a problem with anybody spending more than 1 second trying to figure out the best ways to let them shit in peace.   Nobody is putting a gun to anybody’s head to get a sex change.   Naturally there are going to be some negative side effects when you cross to the other side.  But is it society’s job to ease their transition?  I don’t think so.    If anything these transsexuals have an unfair advantage to begin with because they can choose to use whatever bathroom has a smaller line.  The last thing we need is to give them 3 choices of where they can go.      And doesn’t Jessica Ganon have better things to do than worry about the Transgender students at Emerson?  I mean there can’t be more than 2 of them right?  Or is becoming a transsexual the new hot thing in college?  I don’t know.  It just seems like if you want to be a hero you should donate your time at a soup kitchen or maybe intern at Barstool Sports.  Just not sure you’re going to save the world building gender neutral shitters.   I apologize in advance if I offended any transsexual Stoolies out there.
