The Mexican Baseball League Clearly Knows How To Grow The Game

Will someone wake up Rob Manfred from his coffin and show him a baseball league that actually cares about growing their game? I know that seems harsh considering Major League Baseball has embraced things like the pitch clock to make games shorter than Scorsese films considering there are 162 of them in a season. But then you see shit like the Hall Of Fame inductions being on a random Sunday afternoon the week after the entire sports world was dark outside of their All-Star Game.

Meanwhile, the LMB (which I'm pretty sure is the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol according to my pal Wikipedia) is over here churning out fan made content that has 5.5 million views at the publishing of this blog, which is 2.5 million views more than it had this morning when I woke up. You know what that tells me about Liga Mexicana de Béisbol? It's provocative, it gets the people going! Add in that they appear to sell pitchers at these games and I'm starting to believe that while us Olds grew up with MLB at the dominant baseball league of our lives, our children will grow up with the LMB sitting on the throne during the next phase of the digital age.

Or maybe not considering there were like 20 people in the stands for this game. I don't know. I imagine nobody read a word I wrote after they watched that video five times, so I guess it doesn't really matter what I say anyway.
