Meanwhile, double upset out WEST! Down goes the first No. 1 seed! No. 4 Alabama knocks out North Carolina, as Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide will meet with Clemson in the College Football Playoff once again… scratch that…. It’s the Tide and the Tigers in the Elite Eight! Wild.

Moving on to Friday’s games, the insane run from NC State continues. Big man DJ Burns and crew took out Shaka Smart’s Marquette team. From an auto bid in the ACC Tournament to being 40 minutes from Phoenix? Truly insane. The Wolfpack meet Duke on Sunday, who eliminated Houston last night.

Finally, Purdue’s path to redemption took another step forward after blowing out Gonzaga in the second half. The Boilermakers face Tennessee on Sunday, with the chance to go to Phoenix.
