Wild Story Of Woman Trying To Find Her Cheating, Missing Husband To Finalize Divorce, Internet Sleuths On A "Are We Dating The Same Guy?" Facebook Group Find Him In Texas

Let me first apologize for making this title long, but not as long as

God Particles, Devil Worshipping, And Rockets Aimed At The Sun: NASA Is Doing Some Really Strange Shit On April 8th For The Eclipse. Like Firing Off 3 Rockets Called "The Serpent Deity" Into The Actual Eclipse. While The Geeks In Geneva Are Firing Up The CERN Reactor Again Hoping To Find The Answer To "Dark Matter"

Everyday there are a couple stories on social media that make me question reality. A husband disappearing in the middle of childbirth and ending up on Dallas in a Facebook group when you're trying to finalize the divorce fits that bill this morning. Most of you are probably strangers to the "Are We Dating The Same Guy?" group but as someone who lives in NYC and is in the dating scene (humble brag), it's out of control. Essentially it's an anonymous Facebook page that only women are allowed into where you post someone's pictures and info (isn't that sort of illegal and considered doxing? Not to these women!) and ask if anyone else has dating experiences with them.

This is a cheater's worst nightmare, much like this fella who just wanted to attempt to move onto a new life without actually finalizing divorce papers with his wife and kids. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and my definition of personal hell is thousands of them trying to track you down until SOMEONE you've had relations with comes out and puts it all out there. Unfortunately for this guy, he isn't exactly the most under-the-radar human out there, considering they found him on an episode of Chopped:

The story has a few more layers, including him opening a restaurant, selling a bunch of gift cards, then closing up shop and running away from not only the family but the business too:

There's a lesson to be learned here about dating in 2024. The first one is that if you have multiple families at the same time, ranging in states, and are still actively dating with a marriage open, you may need to stay off the dating apps in larger cities who have Facebook groups like this (which is literally all of them). The second one is that if you're taking the infidelity pill in a world of social media, good luck with those pages with more firepower than a small country's military. Good luck out there.
