A Breakdown Of What Happened On Taylor Swift New Album Week Day 2 (Monday)
Okay, for those who want to know all the ins and outs right as they happen and don't want to wait for new episodes of Taylor Watch to be in the know, (today's episode is OUT NOW by the way) I'm going to do my best to breakdown all the hubbub of the week on the blog. It's always a LOT to explain, and combing through Twitter trying to discern between facts and rumors is the hardest part of being a Swiftie on weeks like this. That being said, we did a good job on today's episode breaking down everything that happened over the weekend/Sunday, so give that a listen if you're looking for a little more background.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Taylor Swift week if she didn't drop about 10 other new bits of information 3 hours after we've finished recording the pod, with little to no explanation. The first of course is the most obvious - the songwriting credits have dropped for The Tortured Poets Department. Simple enough, right? We knew she was getting the band back together, Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner, the men who brought us Folklore and Evermore (on top of everything she's done since 1989 with Jack) but damn. AARON DESSNER HELPED WITH TRACK 5, SO LONG LONDON? We all remember the last Track 5 he helped on (tolerate it !) and the plenty others he's tweaked to rip our hearts out in the most poetic way possible.

Truly deceased. If anything, I'm even more excited than I was before. I'm a HUGE Aaron Dessner girl and it's been wonderful to know that all of the songs I was interested in from the track list, magically seem to feature him as a producer. PRAISE BE!
Okay, and then.....
This hand painted QR code showed up in Chicago. Luckily, Gia got stuck there for a few more hours and ended up being able to represent Taylor Watch with BOOTS ON THE GROUND coverage of what it could mean:
"Error 321" is the same message we all got the night of the Grammy's from Taylor's merch website, right before she announced this new album. WHAT COULD IT ALL MEAN? Rumors are also that the painters will be back again today….story developing on this one.

The craziest thing by far however, is the fact that for the next 3 days there will be some kind of library pop up at The Grove in LA. While I pout over the fact that LA gets everything, I needed to dig deeper into the potential meaning of this:
Unclear what is to happen there but today IS in fact, National Librarian Day.
This information of course has us all jumping to the conclusion that Taylor Swift is releasing some kind of book today. I think that would end me. Truly, it would be difficult to survive such a gift. We even have someone masquerading on Amazon (could be her, could be a TROLL) and I'll tell ya, it made my heart skip a beat:
Apart from all that, we have our daily word scramble still going (so far we have 'HEREBY CONDUCT THIS') and I think that's basically it when it comes to "facts." I'm aware of the "Serpentine" label rumors at Target but those are a little hard to dissect without any other real info and I don't want to turn this blog into a Reputation Clown Show. There were a few cross promos for Instagram/Threads that seemingly mean nothing, but you never know. I'm already at the point where I'm afraid to sleep, but such is the life of a Swiftie.
