The New Conan O'Brien Travel Series Is Must Watch If You Love Comedy

It's been a huge week for The Cone-zone. Gen Z just discovered Conan O'Brien was one of the most hilarious people alive through Tik Tok clips and his appearance on Hot Ones, O'Brien celebrated his 61st birthday, and yesterday was the premiere of his new travel series on HBO, Conan O'Brien Must Go.

In the 4 episode series (all out now), Conan travels to Norway, Argentina, Thailand, and Ireland to do what he does best, interact with people. Conan's improv skills are second to none, there isn't a funnier person on the planet going who can go off the cuff and making something out of nothing.

Conan traveling around and being a goof in random cities is nothing new, Conan had another travel show on Netflix called Conan Without Borders which was incredible, not to mention he's been doing these bits since he was on Late Night. Everyone knows Conan is a great interviewer from his talk show, but Conan O'Brien Must Go picks up exactly where his old travel bits left off, and O'Brien hasn't missed a beat. Conan's quick wit makes these episodes fun, but the way O'Brien interacts with the camera while he does his man on the street bits, he puts on a comedy masterclass. It's like instead of seeing a lifeless camera, he sees the audience right there with him in the moment, laughing at the bits.

I've been a Conan stan for years. Before you could simply record a tv show, Late Night With Conan O'Brien was appointment watching for me every weeknight. It didn't matter who the guests were, I loved Conan's brand of comedy. When I was in Jr. High, I'd wait till my parents went to bed, then sneak back downstairs to watch. I'd show up to school the next day exhausted, but it was all worth it. The other late night talk show hosts didn't have the creative goofiness that Conan possessed, you felt like he was one of your friends instead of a talk show host.

Conan is a national treasure and must be protected at all costs. Slapping the must watch label on Conan O'Brien Must Go, you won't be disappointed, Conan is still in his prime.
