This AI Video Showing The Simpsons As Real Life Characters From The 1950s Is Haunting As Fuck

Another day, another reason why AI is the fucking devil. Usually we are getting mad at our future robot overlords for taking errr jobs or the inevitable Man vs. Machines war. However today AI simply ruined what in my opinion was the greatest TV show ever at its peak.

Actually, saying that video ruined The Simpsons for me is kind of a stretch considering the show fell off hard roughly 25 years ago and never made it back to the Golden Age of the 90s. However, seeing what the residents of Springfield would look like if the show was real and set in the 50s did make me appreciate The Simpsons was a cartoon because Mr. Burns, Barney, and Apu aren't nearly as funny when you see them as real life people.

I suppose you can make a case that a ruthless billionaire, an aging alcoholic, and a convenience store clerk should have that dead look in their eyes, just like Sideshow Bob should go from a hilarious side character to a legitimate psychopath considering his life is devoted to killing a 10-year-old boy.

Krusty may take the gold for the most fucked up downgrade from cartoon to reality. But a grown man with multiple vices living full-time as a clown would probably look exactly like this:

While I appreciate the creepiness that comes with realism, it probably doesn't make for a great cartoon sitcom, even though Milhouse essentially being Paul Pfeiffer from The Wonder Years is lowkey spot on.

Maybe these AI computers aren't so bad after all! JK, they are going to fuck up our minds with fake media before taking over the planet. But before they do, here are some other sweet videos by Demon Flying Fox remixing some of our favorite franchises.
