Apologies To The Pizzeria That Confused Me, Blutman, And Producer Kody For A One Bite Pizza Review Last Night

Sometimes in life, you have to seize the moment when it presents itself, because certain opportunities don't come twice. That's how me, Blutman, and Producer Kody felt yesterday morning when the Naperville Youth Baseball League offered us to not only throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch of a coach pitch game, but the Ceremonial First Pitch of the entire coach pitch SEASON.

Did we want to move this quickly? Probably not, we were thinking once a week or two to stretch out the content until the MLB season ends. Did we realize that while Naperville was only about 28 miles away on the map, only for it to take 90 minutes because of rush hour? No, we did not.

0 miles per hour on the radar gun as we sat in stand still traffic. But the good news is I got to get to know Liam Blutman much better, a true National Treasure.

Anyways, the point of this blog is not to reveal how the pitch went, as I believe that video will come out later tonight, rather to say what happened afterwards. We went to a Naperville Ice Cream stand, as you would after a Little League Baseball game, and we were filming Liam out in the parking lot eating his cone…..when out of nowhere, a very nice lady came out of the Little Pops Pizzeria and asked if she could make us New York Style cheese pizza?

Umm, sure? Thank you very much. We waited in the parking lot, wondering what could've possibly spurred this moment, until she brought it out to us, took our her phone, and snagged a picture in front of the sign (love the basketball stuck up behind the i).

I'll be the first to question how anyone on the planet could possibly mistake this trio for anything of the likes of Dave Portnoy and the One Bite Pizza Review, but explain the picture? Explain the CHEESE pizza? Explain the last time you were getting back into your car and the owner of a pizzeria came out and asked you to stick around so she could make you a pie.

The fact of the matter is that is exactly what happened. My guess is that someone through the windows noticed the hat and shirt I was wearing, Liam's red hair, and Kody's camera and said wait, Mom, that's Barstool!!! They review cheese pizzas, score them, and can catapult our business! You have to make them your very best pizza! What a let down that all they get is a blog….

So let me be the first to apologize to Little Pops Pizzeria, as I believe you thought you were getting scored by the most influential person in all of pizza, and instead you got scored by someone who just threw out the first pitch at a Coach Pitch little league game.
