Good Job By This Firearms Instructor Accidentally Shooting Off A .44 Magnum Into The Ceiling During A Lesson At A Range

This is one of those random seven-year-old videos that’s suddenly blowing up on Reddit and it’s amazing to me that things like this still go undiscovered for so long. I’ve only been at a shooting range once in my life but from what I could tell from the mandatory safety instruction was that they generally are pretty against you swinging guns around freely and shooting them without aiming at things. Seems like something they frown upon.

But you have to admire the way the dude completely passed it off like it was a deliberate choice to shoot a bullet recklessly as an important lesson for the other guys in gun care. Even they immediately started cracking up knowing it was a mistake but the gun dude wouldn’t break character for a second, he totally meant to do that and recoil the gun right into his face. I’ll give the guy a million points for not spazzing out and keeping his cool but that seems like it should be an instant forfeiture of any gun instructor role. If you empty a bullet into the ceiling like Yosemite Sam during your pre-shooting classes, you are not a safe enough instructor. I’m willing to go out on a limb and say that.

Decent chance a little dook came out here right? The face tells the tale:
