American Pharoah Goes For History On The Best Horse Racing Day of the Year - Breeders' Cup Classic Day (Recap of Day 1)

We had a decent Day 1.  Elio and I are in 31st place out of 321 in our Breeders’ Cup Handicapping Challenge. As a reminder it cost 10K to enter and you basically just see who can make the most money.  The top 15 cash.  Top 3 all win over 100K.    We won early in the day and kind of went downhill from there.  But the important thing is we have plenty of ammo for today.   And I LOVE Tap Too It in the Juvenile Fillies races at noon.    If Tap Too It wins we are going to be in this thing till the death and I may charter a private jet to fly home.    As far as the Classic goes we’re still up in the air on who we are going with it..  We were gonna bet Beholder before Beholder scratched.   Now a lot will depend on whether we are close to the lead.  If we are my guess is we’ll take American Pharoah.   If we’re behind we’ll have to get creative.  Either way it’s a great day to just be a dude and gamble.  In fact besides the first 2 days of March Madness this is the best gambling day of the year.  And we have American Pharoah going for history as well.  What a day to be alive!
