Zendaya Burned The Met Gala Carpet Down In Custom Maison Margiela Before Anyone Else Could Even Get There
WOW, WOW, WOW. We all knew there would be something great to look forward to with Zendaya's look tonight when we found out she was going to be a Co-Chair this year and I'm thrilled to announce she did not disappoint. The night is still going on so I'm sure we'll hear more of an explanation but from this Custom Maison Margiela/John Galliano look I'm getting:
- Alice in Wonderland
- Eve & the snake (forbidden fruit)
- Poison Ivy
I think the "floral" and "garden" pieces look obvious to me (the wine grapes hanging around her I DIE), combined with the other aspect of the theme, "time" (that's where I got Eve from) knocks this completely out of the park for me. Wow, wow wow. The makeup too!!!! (Pat McGrath, of course.) Just gorgeous. Catch me trying to do a maroon smoky eye for work tomorrow.
