Ja Morant Hopped On IG Live Last Night From The Strip Club And Decided It Was A Good Idea To Flex His Gun

Listen, I don't work in PR, but I do have a semi-functioning brain. I would say, that after reports come out that members of your crew allegedly threatened some Pacers staffers and then allegedly pointed a gun with a laser on them, and then a few weeks later a couple more reports come out about how you punched a 17 year old and then went and got a gun, that maybe, MAYBE you shouldn't be pulling out a gun at a strip club and showing it off on IG live.

I'll admit, I have taken exactly zero PR classes in my life, but something tells me it would be frowned upon.

Does Ja care? Apparently not. It almost feels like we're all being trolled or something. I don't have a problem with Morant heading to the strip club after a tough loss to the Nuggets. Welcome to the NBA, players love strip clubs. The issue of course is how tone-deaf you have to be to flash a gun on the internet IMMEDIATELY following the news breaking that you're being "investigated" or whatever for threatening someone with a gun. That seems…..not smart. To be honest, it feels more like a giant fuck you than anything. Remember this from the other night?

Ja Morant is one of the faces of the next generation of NBA stars. He has a Nike deal, is the face now of Powerade etc, how is there nobody in his life that maybe tells him this shit is a bad idea? Where are the Grizzlies? At some point it's not just his friends, he has to be accountable for what he does, and going on the internet and flashing a gun like this cannot be what they advised him to do when all this news broke. In today's world, why give people a reason?

He's such a talented player, it just feels like we're on the verge of something really really bad and really really stupid from happening. With the entire world at his fingertips, I guess I don't see the logic of doing stuff like this. What's the end game here? What's the point? Go get some lapdances or something. Go into the VIP room for some extra if you're feeling stressed after the Nuggets just whooped your ass. There are a million things you can do for fun in a strip club that doesn't involve going on the internet and flexing a gun.

Either Ja will finally understand that he's potentially putting himself in a position to lose everything and cuts this shit out, or, we're going to get one of the craziest 30 for 30s ever made when everything tailspins. There's probably no in-between.
