Wife Of Billionaire Zynga Founder Mark Pincus Divorcing Him, Wants $$
NY Post- Mark Pincus, the billionaire Zynga founder and early Facebook and Twitter investor, is embroiled in what could be a wildly expensive Silicon Valley divorce.
His beautiful wife, Alison Gelb Pincus, the co-founder of One Kings Lane, which sold to Bed Bath & Beyond for $30 million last year, has filed for divorce in San Francisco, citing “irreconcilable differences,” and is asking the court to nullify their prenup.
The tech power couple has been married for nearly nine years and has three young children. Mark founded Zynga in 2007, a year before they married in 2008. Within four years, Zynga grew to a $1 billion company. He is now worth $1.28 billion.
The divorce paperwork also reveals that Alison, 42, plans to challenge the prenup, given that his net worth skyrocketed during their marriage. Another source adds that Mark, 51, was already wealthy going into their union. Despite this, the papers filed with San Francisco County Superior Court reveal he isn’t willing to pay her attorney fees.
Prenup! Prenup! Everybody, everywhere! Prenup! Prenup! Make her sign, you’ll keep your share! Mark Pincus, you brilliant, prophetic Jew. Guy saw this coming from a decade away. Knew he was going to make a billion bucks so he got down on one knee and handed his girl a pen. Presuming the court upholds the prenup, this is a massive victory for men everywhere. Usually this story ends differently because we all think with our hearts (dicks) and don’t acknowledge that betting on your marriage is a coin flip. 50% guys; NOBODY is safe. Getting married without a prenup is the same as betting half your entire net worth on red at the roulette table, except you can only tie or lose.
Another source added, “Mark is incredibly difficult, he’s super tough and in Mark’s world, everything revolves around him. This isn’t about money, they both have enough, and nobody else is involved.”
Hey source, shuuuut the fuck up. Yeah he’s tough, and brilliant–that’s why he’s a billionaire. Built a gaming company that created FarmVille and Draw Something (never played either of these but pretty sure they’re big). And fuck off with your “it’s not about the money” nonsense. If it’s not about the money, than why are we talking about this? His wife made $30 million of her own, which is great–congrats, women in business, equality, we’re impressed, blah blah blah. I’m sure she’ll get a bunch more under the terms of the prenup, so let’s say she walks away with at LEAST $200 million. Seems like… enough. Enough for us to say that if she’s not satisfied, it’s about the money.
Last thing: “the papers filed with San Francisco County Superior Court reveal he isn’t willing to pay her attorney fees.” What?! Of course he’s not paying her attorney fees! Is this a thing? Are there men out there who are actually funding their own castration? If so, the world is a far darker place than I’d thought.
