The Eagles Are A Fucking Embarrassment To Football. Again.
Another week, another unprepared, futile exercise in the sport of football. The Seahawks coming into the game statistically had 3rd worst defense...IN NFL HISTORY. So naturally the Eagles put up a valiant 17 9 points . NINE!!! Yes I know they scored 17, but they didn't. The only reason they did was to fuck every single rational, smart person who had the Seahawks at -6.5 right in the dick. The Eagles deserve all the unnecessary hate in the world for not letting the rational, smart people who bet the Seahawks win their money. No excuses. Fuck that.
Anywho, every other team Seattle played this year scored at least 21 points. The Eagles can barely put up double digits. Unacceptable. Doug can't coach. Remember that one time the Eagles were down by two scores in the 4th quarter and went for it on 4th and 4 when they could've easily kicked a FG? That was cute. As well as something a JV football coach would have been intelligent enough to do. Carson can't QB. He just...stinks. There's no other way around it. He holds onto the ball too long (another 6 sacks given up) and when he doesn't he makes wrong reads and when he doesn't he's inaccurate as all hell. Carson Wentz currently is one of the worst QB's in the NFL. Good thing there were 45 passes compared to only 9 called runs (not including 5 scrambles)! It takes Alshon Jeffrey about 6 full years to get open. Remember Travis Fulgham? The most productive receiver in the NFL for weeks on end? Forget about targets, for some reason he's apparently not even worthy of seeing the field anymore until the 4th quarter. He had a good run, I guess! Right, Doug?
Props to the defense again for at least leaving some balls out on the field. Well, except for even attempting to contain DK Metcalf (Darius Slay kinda low key sucks). Well, outside of committing personal fouls on him after the play. Maybe if the Eagles drafted the guy who has more catches on this drive than JJAW does all year they wouldn't need to beat the living shit out of him after every play to try and slow him down. DK now has 20 catches in 3 games vs the Eagles. JJAW has 12 catches in his ENTIRE CAREER. But, hey, he's gonna be an OK RedZone threat one day! Just wait and see!
3-7-1 and still someway, somehow the NFC East is still within reach. That is until the Eagles get eviscerated in Green Bay next week then back at home vs. the Saints. But, hey, 6-9-1 Division champs? A team can dream, baby. A team can dream.
