The Season Is Just Getting Started And We Already Have Ohio State Winning On A BONKERS Ending

This might sound crazy but a (near) buzzer-beater wasn't even the craziest part of the ending. Why? The only reason we had this bucket by Key was because Akron went full Larry Johnson.

Now, both offenses should be credited for sure. But what the hell was the defense on both sides here? EJ Liddell can't get lost in space and then foul like that up 3. If you're going to foul tackle the guy so he physically can't shoot. Then Akron. You're up 1. You lose on a layup. You can't send a double and leave the guy there. There was too much time. 

Sure, Ohio State didn't have Kyle Young and Justice Sueing was banged up and not himself, but credit to Akron for going on the road and playing them to this. John Groce has a damn good mid-major in Akron. I also think Ohio State will be fine going forward. Either way the season is just going and we're getting insane endings. I missed this sport.
