Here's A New One, An Australian Golfer's Round Was Ruined By A Giant Crab

A golfer in Australia is now in the market for a new driver ... 'cause a giant crab destroyed his on the course.

For real.

The crazy scene happened Down Under recently ... when a golfer stepped away from his bag for just a few moments and returned to find a massive robber crab hugging his clubs.

I've seen a lot of shit on the golf course. I played with Dana and Mush two summers ago when the world was still wacky and they were amazed that the gentleman playing a few holes behind us decided to enjoy his day without a shirt. I've watched clubs snap mid swing, I've seen club heads break and go flying further than the ball, good shots, bad shots. One time a few kids ran out of the woods and stole the pin. These are all rare occurrences, but they happen. That's golf - sometimes shit happens. But you want to talk about all time bad breaks ? Pun intended. How about some kind of freak show giant crab climbing onto your bag and snapping your driver ?

That absolutely SUCKS !

A- because even with video on your phone etc , I think no one would even believe you it happened. Can you imagine trying to tell your friends or your wife when you get home yeah I lost my driver because a GIANT CRAB broke it ? Even with the video I wouldn't believe it. People can make anything happen on video now a days.

Proof :

2- Golf shit is expensive . This poor bastard didn't rage smash his driver, he didn't lose it. It got broken because of a GIANT CRAB ! Now he's gotta go buy a new one, and likely a better one, and a more expensive one. Poor bastard. Also he's gonna get no end of shit for spending the dough from his wife. "Do you really need a new driver for $800 ? "  ... "Well yes since A GIANT CRAB  broke my old one." Shelling out (pun intended) for new clubs sucks ass ... especially when it's not your fault.

D- Depending on when it happened , his round was ruined. This dude is just trying to enjoy a few hours, have a few high noons , wack a few good shots, and have a few laughs with his buddies . Maybe he's playing really well, maybe he's trying to break 100, or 90, or hell even 80. Maybe his driver is the best one in the bag that day- kiss that goodbye. Again ... because A GIANT CRAB broke it .

Shoutout to this guy for handling it way better than I would have. His quote sums up this absolutely insane situation and golf in general if you ask me.

"Just let him have it, mate," one of the golfer's said. "He's beaten us."

Hope he has a great round the next time out . He deserves it.
