Kent State Immediately Going To The Crowd And Talking Shit After Beating Akron Is The Only Proper Way To Celebrate

You thought Friday night's might be for meeting up with some pals and having a few buckets of beer at the local bar. Not in the MAC my friends. Not in the MAC at all. You don't just put Kent State and Akron in a gym together and not expect fireworks. That's MACtion life. It's why I want conferences like the MAC to take over Friday. We talk about it all the time, but a mid-major conference fully embracing Friday basketball or weird schedules would be awesome. The MAC is good enough to get people to watch on Friday's too. 

There's a lot going on in this video too. You have the immediate reaction by Kent State flying over to the crowd to wave bye. It's the mid-major version of Marshall Henderson going to Auburn. You get the double birds. You have students ready to fight (they'd lose). It's beautiful. It's exactly what I want to see in these sort of situations. Win, talk shit, party. That's MAC basketball.
