Tyler Reddick to join Evil Empire, race for 23XI Racing, Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin

News we didn’t expect to hear today for $500 please Alex!

HOLY FUCK!

Our friend of the program Tyler Reddick is making headlines yet again. Earlier today, out of nowhere, it was announced that he’d be joining 23XI Racing, a team owned by Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan.

And his current team Richard Childress Racing was quick to respond to the news with a rather frank statement

Tyler has agreed to jump from RCR to 23XI, from Chevy to Toyota and I don’t know how to feel about this all.

Just last week Tyler got his first ever Cup series win, coming for RCR at Road America. Now just days later he’s taking his talents elsewhere.

Reddick will join a team currently made up of Bubba Wallace and Kurt Busch, starting in the 2024 season.

At least I think? We're still waiting to see how this will all shake out. Will Reddick replace Bubba or Busch, or will the team add a third car?

Meanwhile at RCR it’ll likely be super awkward over the next year and a half while Tyler closes out his time there.

However, you have to respect Tyler for giving them that much time to find his replacement. Although I'm not sure that's possible.

Chevy or Toyota, RCR or 23XI, I’ll always be behind our guy Tyler Reddick. Get that bag king.
