NFL Ref Was Not Getting Mike Evans Autograph After Officiating Bucs Loss On Sunday, The Conversation Was Apparently About Golf

This was the scene after the Buccaneers embarrassing 21-3 loss in Carolina with an NFL Official, Jeff Lamberth appearing to get Bucs Wide Receiver Mike Evans autograph. But the myth has been busted.

Both Lambert and Evans went to Texas A&M and Lamberth was getting the superstar WR's phone number to pass it onto a golf pro to give Evans lessons. 

Evans needs to keep sharp on the links as he hosts a charity golf outing annually in Tampa for his charity, the Mike Evans Family Foundation. So good on him for being a great guy and being able to compartmentalize the stress of his job after a tough loss to the greater good which is charity. Some things truly are bigger than sports.
