Hovland. Rahm. Koepka. Sunday At The Masters Is Setting Up To Be An All-Timer.

Goddamn. Round 3 is in the books and what a gorgeous leaderboard we have here. Big names left and right duking it out on Easter Sunday. What a blessing.

Rahm and Koepka battled out there and effectively canceled each other out with matching 73's. That allowed the pack to close the gap a wee bit. Hovland popped off on the back second nine with birdies on all of Amen Corner plus 14 for shits and giggles. His 70 has him right there, and Patrick Cantlay is right in the mix too. His 68 helped him gain 5 strokes on the leaders, which is exactly his deficit as we head into round 3.

This group's resume speaks for itself. Rahm has been world #1 more often than not over the last 3 years and is a US Open winner who has sniffed a green jacket on numerous occasions. Koepka was top dog before him, cleaning up 4 majors and holding the title as the game's biggest major hunter. Hovland was the next big thing coming out of college and has won numerous times world wide. And Patrick Cantlay has a FedEx Cup title to his name and is bound to win a major here at some point. The group consists of the 3rd, 4th, 9th, and 118th players in the world…. and we all know Koepka's current standing is nonsense. While he was lost at sea there for a little bit due to injuries, that #1 in the world golfer is still in there somewhere, as we saw on Thursday and Friday.
