WATCH: This Dad Tried To Catch A Foul Ball While Holding His Kid And His Wife Is Going To Fucking Kill Him After How It Ended

Oh no. That guy is so fucked.

This is maybe the biggest risk for the least reward I've ever seen. Best case scenario here is you get back to your seats with a foul ball from a college baseball game, a souvenir that is literally almost worthless. At least catching a Major League foul ball is a cool story that you can tell people. Is anyone bragging to their friends about snagging a ball from the Campbell-NC State elimination game in the 2023 Columbia Regional?

And then obviously the worst case scenario is your child ends up eating pavement on national television and your wife makes you sleep on the couch for a few weeks. There wasn't even anyone else in the area. This guy could have very easily put his son down in plenty of time if he really wanted a baseball that badly — or he could have let the baseball roll down the concourse until a kid picked it up like a normal person because he's holding his child. Everything about this clip is a perfect embodiment of Murphy's law.

I hope that kid is ok, because he hit the pavement pretty hard. I still have a scar next to my eye from a nasty spill at a McDonald's PlayPlace in 1999 and I turned out alright, so I'm sure he'll be fine. Kids are resilient.

His dad will be reminded of this clip for the next 40 years or so, though.
