A Johns Hopkins Pitcher Threw A 160-Pitch Complete Game To Send JHU To The National Championship Game And Then Dunked All Over Keith Law On Twitter

Gabriel Romano was a warrior on the mound for Johns Hopkins this week, throwing a 160-pitch complete game to force a winner-take-all game for the Blue Jays in the Division III national championship series. The fifth-year senior left everything he had on the field for his team in his last baseball game ever.

Some people, however, still had a problem with him being allowed to throw that many pitches, including known hater of fun Keith Law.

Correct, Keith: MLB teams paying guys $20 million a year to pitch for their billion-dollar businesses aren't going to let guys throw 150 pitches. This is a little bit different.

Instead of sitting back and taking it, though, Romano shoved Law in a locker.

Respect, Gabe. This kid gave everything he had to get his team to one final game with a chance to win a national title. JHU unfortunately lost Game 3 of the series 7-6 to Lynchburg but Romano gave a legendary performance to put them in that position in the first place.
