Fuck The Cowboys - The Giants New Era Starts Tonight Thanks To Hope, Wild Cards And Gigantic Balls

Here we go, another season in the trenches. Another season explaining to people that yes, I do live in Cincinnati, went to Kentucky but grew up in the east coast and the entire family is from New Jersey, hence being a Giants fan. Another season of telling all my asshole Eagles fans they are the worst. Another season reminding my Cowboys fans that you don't get to scream about all the Super Bowls when it's been decades since they've made the NFC title game. 

But this is a different year for the Giants. This is the first time in, I don't know, a decade(?) that the Giants have expectations. Even though people keep screaming about a let down year and taking a step back. Fuck that. It starts tonight. It starts tonight thanks to weapons (Paris Campbell, Darren Waller, Jalin Hyatt). It starts tonight thanks to wild cards (Isaiah Simmons). It starts tonight thanks to gigantic balls. These man's gigantic balls to be exact:

Last year he set the tone by going for 2 against the Titans. That let everyone know he's going to go for throats. It gave confidence to a Giants team that ended up having almost zero weapons. Now this year, we need the same. We need Daboll to coach his ass off. Coach to win. Don't be a pussy basically and punt from the 40 or something like that on 4th and short. 

It also starts with Daniel Jones. He won me - and basically every other Giants fan - over last year. He had balls. He showed up, made a leap and now needs another one. The key here is simple. Cut down turnovers, make those plays with legs/arm and look the part of a starting quarterback. No one is saying you're going to be Mahomes, but be the starting QB on a playoff team again. Make these new weapons worth the investment. No going back and being the Shurmur/Judge/Garrett/Gettleman shit show. It's that simple.

And it all starts tonight. Fuck Dallas.
