Zach Wilson Fired Back At Joe Namath For Saying The Jets Should Trade Wilson After His Disgusting Performance Vs. The Patriots

Zach Wilson has gotten a lot of shit, like so much shit most men would wish to be cut just to save them from the pain. Joe Namath is the patron saint of the Jets. He probably has been the most consistently worn jersey in the NFL since he won in 1968. The turnover rate of players and lack of success meant the only dude people could rep was Joe Willy. The guy was a legend by all accounts. My grandfather who worked NYPD used to literally see the guy walk out of nightclubs late Saturday night and win on Sunday. 

So Zach Wilson getting torched by Joe Willy is almost zero path back.

But Zach navigated it with the media decently well. I mean if he can handle all the heat he's been getting media wise there's a fucked up chance he is able to handle the Kansas City Chiefs. Hell I am at the stage of buying back in and justifying having hope for week 4. I mean we are forgetting that the guy beat the Bills week 1. Maybe he rises to the occasion and shows he can be the next Patrick Mahomes. 

One thing Namath is absolutely right about is that Zach Wilson would fit better than most into Kansas City's offense. I know it's nuts to say but their play is a lot more similar than people think. Just watch this tape. If there is any bit of BYU Zach Wilson left, please show yourself. 

I will most likely be in absolute shambles Sunday night. Taylor Swift is going to be there dunking on the Jets in the box with Travis Kelce's mother. Zach Wilson may better be served being an assassins and getting an off field assignment to go into the Chiefs box and try to bang Mrs. Kelce and shoot his shot at Taylor to just distract the entire Chiefs organization and world while Trevor Semian maybe can sneak in a win.
