49ers Safety Talanoa Hufanga Has No Idea Why James Conner Tried To Fight Him After The Game Since, You Know, 'He Only Ran For 52 Yards'

Scuffles happen after games more than you think. First off, smart of James Conner to leave his helmet on. It's all about having the advantage in a scuffle. You want the high ground. You want to be on your feet. Most importantly, if you have protection like a helmet, keep that thing on. Can't risk catching a punch to the head while there's something already on your dome to protect you. Elite awareness from Conner.

Now, that said. I have to call him the loser of this fight simply because of what Hufanga said after it all:

He only ran for 52 yards is such a hilarious line to throw in here. Would it have mattered if he hit 100? Would Hufanga have a different mindset in that scenario? I honestly wish he listed more of his stats. Should have broke out advanced analytics and everything else to show what the defense did to James Conner.

The best is this just sums up NFL fandom at its finest. I tried to figure out if something triggered this. Cardinals fans are blaming the 49ers for dirty plays on defense and hitting after the whistle. 49ers fans are blaming James Conner for being a loser. Just a back and forth with no winner. It's why we're fans. You blindly defend your guys no matter the situation.

I gotta give credit to the Cardinals though. They are finding a way to stay in the news despite being a team everyone thought would suck. Beat the Cowboys, hang around with teams, not be able to sell Joshua Dobbs jerseys and now a scuffle. Job well done for at least having us tune in during the 4pm window. That's worth a win for them.
