Brian Daboll Is 100% Right To Start Hinting At A Quarterback Controversy, Make Daniel Jones Earn His Spot Back

I know shit changes after a win, you're not as quick to say no and frankly you're just happier. But this is slightly different from a week ago

Personally? Yeah, this should be a debate. I know Daniel Jones just got the new contract and was fine a year ago. But he's been awful this year. Part line, part him. But the fact is the Giants offense actually scored a touchdown this week. In fact, there was 2 of them. We've seen that once this season - the Cardinals. 14 points is still a shit show, but it's not nearly as much of a shit show as every other game. That's basically where we're at right now.

The offense was actually looking average yesterday. That's fair to say. Taylor was making throws we haven't seen all year. You know, a deep pass or two to Hyatt. Moving the ball before Saquon fumbles - trade him. Trade him right now. It's basically at the point where you are confident in saying Daniel Jones is going to take that leap to be a quarterback that can compete for a Super Bowl. The more it looks like his ceiling was a year ago. Not ruling out he can't get back to it, but this is a business league and right now in order to win Taylor has looked better.

All I know is Daboll went from quickly saying no to this whatever answer. We're creeping up on a controversy but in all honesty? Jones shouldn't play again until he's truly 100%. What's the point?
