The Entire State Of Kentucky Has Now Given Up On John Calipari, May Have Found A Loophole To Get Out His Dumbass Lifetime Contract

Goddamnit. Just when I think we hit rock bottom we have .. this. Calipari, it's not even that hard to spell. This isn't a Gillispie, Gillespie situation we got on our hands. This is just Calipari. He's not Coach K. Coach Cal. No idiot spells Cal, Kal. This isn't even me making fun of the newspaper or editors, I would never make fun of editors (hope 3 people read that). Lord knows we have our own typos in headlines - we have our own teacher to make sure that doesn't go unnoticed each week. In fact this might even make his weekly blog about headline mistakes.

But, no, this is a bigger issue. This is the entire state of Kentucky giving up on the guy. No chance this ever happened to Rick Pitino or something like that when he was here. No one accidentally typed Joe A. Hall for Joe B. Hall. This is the state ready to throw a mutiny if John Calipari is still the head coach of Kentucky. I feel like a kid in a divorce here. John Calipari was Kentucky basketball and vice versa for the last 15 years. He made us cool again, had the run from 2010-2019ish that was damn impressive no matter what people try to spin. It's now 15 years later and I want to open Christmas gifts two different times.

Do you know how insulting it is to call John Calipari Coach K essentially? It's a joke! It's a bigger joke that nothing has been said by him or Barnhart yet. Then again, Barnhart is a disaster of an AD. Is this how we get out of the lifetime deal that ends in 2029 anyways? Does Cal's life just end if we all call him Kal? Can we save millions of dollars that way? 

I don't know who Kentucky hires. But you gotta hire anyone at this point because every single fan will revolt every single loss next year. Cal's out of bullets. He can't say the team is built for March. He can't say look at the recruiting class that is coming in. He can't do more assistant changes. It's time for Kalipari to go. Lifetime contract over.
