Rick Carlisle Embarrassed Himself By Pathetically Crying During His Press Conference About 'Small Market Teams Not Getting A Fair Shot'

This is one of the most pathetic, downright sad bitching I've ever seen. Rick Carlisle going off about small market teams deserve a fair shot? Buddy, the Western Conference Finals has a good shot to be Oklahoma City and Minnesota. POWER markets. Also, if the NBA *really* wanted the Knicks to win, we'd have made a conference finals since fucking 2000! We were just getting down worrying about Y2K the last time we've been there. We've made the conference semis THREE times since then. They gotta do a better job rigging it for the biggest market in the world.

Now, does anyone want to tell Carlisle he's a main reason the Pacers lost tonight? Fine, I will. Last time I checked coaches, not refs, make the subs. They decide who is on the floor. So, when TJ McConnell was on the bench for the last 7 minutes and 10 seconds, clearly it had to be the refs fault. Could never be Rick Carlisle forgetting how to coach. Has to be some big conspiracy theory. OR when Myles Turner shoots a stepback three in the clutch, clearly the refs told him to do that too. OR Tyrese Haliburton doing next to nothing in the second half, must have been the refs fault.

At least they lost to a Knicks team that's fully healthy, with a deep bench and didn't suffer any setbacks this game!

But, again, it's the refs fault. It's the refs fault that the Pacers shot 58% from the free throw line. It's the refs fault that the Pacers let the Knicks shoot 57% from the field. It's the refs fault that you left Andrew Nembhard out there to get cooked by Brunson in the 4th. Oh and for everyone screaming about free throw numbers? 6 of the Knicks 22 free throws were in the last minute, 2 of which were Carlisle's technicals, 4 were the Pacers fouling on purpose. The Pacers shot 17 free throws.

Missed calls? Yeah, that happens, both ways. Maybe - just an idea here - don't blow a 9-point lead in the fourth quarter one game and don't blow a 12-point 2nd half lead the next. At some point it's on you and your team, man.

Ah well, hate to see it.
