Reggie Bush Adds To His Finesse Hall Of Fame Legacy By Winning $12.45 Million From The Rams For An Injury From 2015

(ESPN) – The Los Angeles Rams were ordered to pay former NFL running back Reggie Bush $12.45 million in damages on Tuesday for a knee injury he suffered in St. Louis in 2015, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

Bush, then playing for the San Francisco 49ers, ran out of bounds on a punt return in a game at the Edward Jones Dome on Nov. 1, 2015, and slipped on some concrete. He suffered a torn lateral meniscus, which ended his season.

“I’m very happy with the verdict,” Bush told the Post-Dispatch. “The people spoke and decided very fairly.”

Attorneys for the Rams said they plan to file a motion for a new trial. The team declined comment on the verdict. Bush filed suit in 2016, alleging that the Rams and the public stadium authorities allowed a “a dangerous condition to exist at the Dome.” Bush’s suit called the area where he fell “a concrete ring of death.”

I’m sure in 2015 Reggie Bush was quite distraught that he fucked up his knee, effectively ending his career in the pros. He was technically on the Bills the following year, but 87 total yards from scrimmage over 12 games (including -3 rushing yards on 12 caries) wasn’t exactly the banner ending to the career he was projecting while he was at USC. I can imagine those were some dark, depressing days for Reggie.

Let’s see how he’s doing today.

    WHAT A LEGEND!

Bush made about $3.8 million combined over his last two years with San Francisco and Buffalo. And to get that money he had to practice and rehab and get hit by incredibly large human beings simple because he was holding an oblong shaped ball in his hands. Today he tripled that for an injury he’s long recovered from, adding to an already stacked Finesse Hall of Fame résumé he’s been building since the second he left high school.

Between putting his family in a mansion while pulling Kim K before she became Kim K all while still in college, Reggie’s long been cut from a different cloth when it comes to this finesse game. He simply doesn’t play football for free. Hell, the man doesn’t even get injured for less than $12,000,000. $63 Mil earned during his 11 year career in the NFL, plus whatever he got from USC, plus this $12.45 Mil from the Rams and I cannot see a single argument that keeps him off my ballot. All it cost him was some rehab time and the physical Heisman trophy. A trade any human with a functioning brain would make 100 out of 100 times.
