Charles Barkley Is A Hero With Zero Rings And Does Not Remember His Career

It takes a real hero to say he’d rather have zero rings than join a super team. That hero is even larger when he forced his way to join that pesky up and coming bunch in Houston in 1996. Not everyone can win back-to-back NBA titles, so it’s not like Charles joined a super team. Just a group that had Hakeem Olajuwon and Clyde Drexler. A bunch of nobodies if you ask me.

I mean this is a hero who demanded a trade when the Sixers missed the playoffs in 1992. It’s not his fault he couldn’t carry the team and wanted to be somewhere where he could win. No, no, Charles Barkley would have stayed in Philadelphia if he didn’t demand a trade. That’s just who he is, someone who would rather have zero rings than force his way out after missing the playoffs.

I don’t get why people still talk like this. I mean does Barkley know we all know his story? Does he forget about the Internet for people younger than his era? Super teams have been a thing well before Durant and before LeBron. This isn’t some new thing started in 2010. I get the whole people love to talk about their era being the best, but at some point, you have to realize you’re just lying.
