Bristol Palin Joins Cast Of MTV's 'Teen Mom OG'
Kicking off Monday with the big news that really matters.
Bristol Palin, 27, announced she’ll be joining the cast of MTV’s ‘Teen Mom OG’. I guess this could also be titled ‘Random Celeb Decides To Make Some Easy Money’. She can see the paychecks from her house.
According to the Washington Post,
Palin, 27, was 17 when she became pregnant with her first child, Tripp. Her pregnancy made headlines during the 2008 presidential campaign when her mother, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, made an unsuccessful run for vice president.
On “Teen Mom OG,” Palin will be featured alongside original cast members of “16 and Pregnant,” which premiered in 2009 and spawned a long-running, popular franchise about young mothers and their families.
Bristol now has three children & is currently with the father of her daughters, Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer. Previously she appeared on Dancing with the Stars and had one season of her own reality TV show, ‘Life’s A Tripp’. Via ABC News, she also made some big bucks back in the day as a spokeswoman for The Candies Foundation, a non-profit that advocates abstinence to prevent pregnancies.
My low emotional intelligence combined with the limited channel options on my cheap-o cable plan means I’ve been into Teen Mom for quite some time and will likely be watching this. And honestly, if I had the same kind of opportunity I’d take it. MTV, where you at on those plans for ’32 And Gross’?
