If Tom Brady Has A Shred Of Decency Or Character In His Body, The First Thing He'll Do Tonight Is Shake Nick Foles' Hand

Super Bowl LII - Philadelphia Eagles v New England Patriots

Tom Brady. Many people often refer to him as the GOAT. But the greatest what of all time? The greatest quarterback? Or the greatest cry baby? Because I’m starting to think it’s the latter, especially after last year’s despicable display after the Patriots’ loss in the Super Bowl.

If you recall, Tom Brady stormed off the field like a spoiled little brat following the Pats’ 41-33 loss in Super Bowl LII last year without first seeking out Nick Foles and shaking his hand, as is customary between dueling quarterbacks in a football match. Nick Foles. The Pro Bowl MVP from 2013. The man who out-dueled Brady in the biggest game of the season while throwing for 373 yards, 3 passing touchdowns and tacked on a receiving touchdown for good measure. The man was the MVP of the Super Bowl–a handshake is the absolute least he deserved. But Nick Foles is as humble as they come so I’m sure that would have sufficed for him. But no. Tom Brady didn’t have the decency or the courtesy to even extend him that small gesture. He just took off to the locker room to pout. Makes me sick just thinking about it.

Now not many people in life are given the opportunities to right their wrongs. But that’s what Tom Brady has here on his hands tonight. Snubbing Big Dicholas Nicholas Foles could possibly go down as the biggest mistake in his life, but tonight? Right before kick off at the 50 yard line? With one reach, grab, up and down of the hand, he can erase that mistake from history. I look forward to seeing which direction Tom Brady decides to steer his legacy. Take the blue pill, Tom. Shake Nick’s hand.

P.S. – Opening series for the Eagles offense. Dougie P better call the Philly Special at some point.
