BACKDOOR SLUTS 9?!?!

Old South Park could be the greatest television ever. It paved the way for all the best comedies by simply not giving a fuck. I remember when South Park premiered, there was outrage, and this was before the time of outrage. Like, you never really heard people get mad about things back then. It was rather chill. Also there was no Twitter or outrage internet culture, so it was harder for the mob mentality to create a scene. But for South Park, I distinctly recall it was the first time I ever remember outrage over anything. And what did Comedy Central do? They stuck by their show. And Trey and Matt just got better and better. I mean the real early episodes are kinda meh, but man did they cross the proverbial line every single second they had a chance. Eventually the show came into it’s own, where we got scenes like the above, Casa Bonita,

Butters being a pimp,

Race you down the mountain, DARSH

And on top of a billion others, of course my all time favorite episode, Scott Tenorman Must Die.

The last 5 minutes of Scott Tenorman go toe to toe with any episode of television ever made. Just that good.

So yes, I was excited when South Park released their Season 26 teaser yesterday:

I don’t think the last couple seasons have been particularly good, but if there’s a show that I will never give up on, it’s South Park.

I mean….

Amen.
