I Don't Know What Germain Ifedi Did To Deserve This
Pictured above is Germain Ifedi.
Here’s a little bit of background on Ifedi if you happen to be unfamiliar with him: He’s 24 years old and was drafted by the Seahawks 31st overall in 2016. He attended Texas A&M and is currently Seattle’s right tackle.
It’s no secret that Seattle’s offensive line has been a sore spot for a little while now. Ifedi was brought in to shore that up a bit, and to put it nicely he hasn’t exactly done a great job. It’s not all on him as the offensive line is a collective unit, but they’re still having a hard time running the ball and Russell Wilson is still constantly running for his life.
But, I’m not here to shit on Germain and the Seahawks offensive line. I’m really not. I’m actually here because I feel pity for this man.
Last week he had to go up against arguably the best pass rusher in football – you know a guy named Von Miller and it went about as well as you’d expect:
Miller had three sacks on the day (two vs Ifedi) and Wilson was sacked 6 times altogether. The Denver defense also amassed 11 QB hits and 8 tackles for loss.
Not exactly a bang up job and it all just leads me to wonder what the hell Germain Ifedi did to someone in another lifetime to deserve going against Von Miller & Khalil Mack in back to back weeks.
No joke right when I saw this I ran to see if the Seahawks played the Texans in Week 3. Thank god they play the Cowboys because Miller, Mack, and then Watt just would have been too much for the average man. It honestly may have killed him.
Shit, just Miller and Mack in back to back weeks may kill him. It reminds of when Seann William Scott died in the first Final Destination movie.
Poor Stifler. He avoided getting hit by the train and thought that he was going to walk out of there unscathed and then boom he gets decapitated (R.I.P. Ed Truck btw).
Ifedi may have avoided that train last week, but tonight that piece of metal is coming at his ass in the form of this man:
Pray for Germain tonight.
Bear Down and buy a shirt:
