Love Is Dead As JWoww Files For Divorce From Roger
NYDN- JWoww of “Jersey Shore” has filed for divorce from her husband of less than three years. The divorce complaint was filed Sept. 12 in Ocean County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences between JWoww, whose real name is Jenni Farley, and Roger Mathews. The Asbury Park Press reports the 32-year-old Farley is starring in “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” and the spinoff series “Snooki and JWoww.”
Damn man, MTV’s Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are officially #done. I am just going to come out and admit that this news shook me way more than it should have. I know we always joke about how stupid it is to believe that any celebrity couple is going to stay together forever just because they seem happy when the cameras are on. That goes up by a thousand percent when the two people that met at the Jersey shore. It goes up by a million percent when they met on a reality show. And it goes up by a kabillion percent when they met on a reality show called Jersey Shore.
But there was something about JWoww and Roger that just felt like those two crazy kids were going to make it despite finding love in a hopeless place. Sammi and Ronnie were the couple that you knew and hoped wouldn’t stay together for both their sake and the sake of everyone around them. But there was something inherently sweet about JWoww and Roger.

While Sammi and Ronnie would fight like cats and dogs in between howls of “Stahhhhp Rahhhhhn”, JWoww and Roger would work out there problems like rational young adults that just happened to be partying every night in the booze-filled gorilla juicehead capital of the world. Them staying together at the end of Season 1 was maybe the greatest love story ever told on television, let alone them making it to 2018 as a couple despite both becoming whatever list celebrity the Jersey Shore crew is/was. I can’t believe that the breakup of two people named JWoww and Rojuhhh would shake me to my core like this. But it is truly a sad day for those of us that believe in real love.
