How Selfish Is Urban Meyer?

So the big news of the day is that Urban Meyer announced his semi annual retirement from college football today. Listen I’m not going to sit here and debate whether Urban will coach again. Of course he will. If you don’t believe that I got some ball don’t lie shirts I’d love to sell you.

Instead I’d like to discuss the timing of his announcement. Because in my humble opinion this is one of the most selfish, egotistical moves in the history of mankind. I mean why announce this before the Rose Bowl? Well the answer is simple. He wants to make this game all about him. He wants to make sure nobody talks about the seniors or his players. He wants it to be he Urban Meyer show 24/7. It’s a disgusting move that makes me want to puke. Listen maybe I could understand it if Ohio had to go out and hire a new coach but they already announced an assistant is taking over. So again why publicly announce this right now? I guess Urban and Lebron are identical twins after all.
