The Ron Baker Era Is Officially Over In New York So The Knicks Could Make Room For Allonzo Trier's New 2-Year Contract

Ain’t no sunshine when Ron’s gone, only darkness every day. Okay that may be a little extreme, but make no mistake about it, the Ron Baker Era ending was a sad moment in Knicks history up there with Reggie Miller’s 8 points in 9 seconds and the time James Dolan used inception to convince his dad to give him the Knicks. The famed building on 33rd and 7th lost some grit and hustle today as well as one of the few remaining members of the 2016-17 #Superteam Knicks. Excuse me a starter from the 2016-17 #SuperTeam Knicks.

I hope Ronnie lands on his feet on a good NBA team, preferably one within driving distance to The Ron Baker Home Makers.

On the other side of the equation I cannot be happier for Allonzo Trier getting a two-year deal because his story is awesome, the nickname Iso Zo is even better, he is fun as fuck to watch, and every story I will read about him for the rest of my life will mention that he was undrafted to the point I think we should rename him Undrafted Allonzo Trier. Sometimes it’s the little things in life as a sports fan.
