3 Years Ago Today A Tweet From Ryan Whitney Changed Podcasting Forever

People are always asking how Spittin’ Chiclets got started and to be simple, it started from the tweet above. Ryan Whitney boarded a train to NYC and took questions from his twitter followers.

Which lead to a question being asked about Ryan getting into media.

And this is where the Whit dog expressed his interest in podcasting and shot his shot with his former teammate and twitter big shot, Paul Bissonette also known as Biz Nasty. When Biz decided he wanted to continue his career which included two more season with the Ontario Reign, 6 points, 99 PIMs and two torn ACLs. I mean, the guy was fresh off a Calder Cup championship the year before. Confidence was at an all time high. Ryan had to look in another direction.

That is when the infamous Rear Admiral, the Boston Bruins writer for Barstool, shot his shot with the hopes of doing a podcast with the former NHLer.
