More Great White Sharks Spotted Off The Jersey Coast And They're Eating Everything In Sight
NBC10 – When a shark emerged from the water with an open mouth and triangular 2-inch teeth, fisherman Steve Clark knew he was having a close encounter with a great white. The chance meeting, he says, happened about 5 p.m. Saturday at 28-Mile Wreck, the site of a World War II shipwreck off of Cape May, New Jersey. Clark’s team of fishermen spotted the 16-foot great white shark swimming toward their 35-foot-boat, the 35 Everglades. The shark swam around the vessel for about 20 minutes before ripping a chum basket of fish right from the side of the boat.
HOOPER! FULL THROTTLE!
The beasts are now ripping chum bags right off the boat? They’ll eat anything, I suppose. Seen one eat a rocking chair, once. But it’s time to get all the bigger boats needed to deal with this Great White shark issue before it gets worse. Probably should’ve shoved a scuba tank in that thing’s mouth and say smile you son of a bitch before blowing it to kingdom come. OK, maybe we shouldn’t take steps to endanger the species again, but we at least need to steer them away from our backyard. We have enough problems trying to rid the Jersey waters of the natural land whales. They already caught one mating in her natural habitat in Sea Isle earlier this season. Many eyes have still yet to recover.
“Oh, wow! A fish is spotted in the ocean! How blogworthy!” Listen you little shits. This squalus is considerably larger than any normal squalus found in these waters. Maybe they’ve been off the coastline forever and the abundance of technology is leading to us capturing them more, but from what I can remember we’ve never had to worry about Great White sharks in Jersey waters. As long as you continue to ignore this particular problem until it swims up and bites you in the ass, I will continue to blog it. 50% for public safety and the other 50% for the Jaws quotes. If you don’t like that movie then I don’t like you. Simple as that.
