Former 1st Round Pick Pulls Off One Of The Most Insane Moves In A Shootout I Have Ever Seen
I have been texted this about 10 times today. Absolute filth. One of the craziest moves in a shootout I have ever seen. Am I being a typical millennial and exaggerating? Probably…. But it was unbelievable. Former 2011 1st round pick of the Vancouver Canucks Nicklas Jensen scored the insane shootout winner for his KHL team Jokerit Helsinki today.
I can’t get over this move. He acts like he is doing the Forsberg, completely freezes and get the goalie and gets him to bite, then pulls it back in and puts the puck upstairs. It doesn’t get any prettier than that.
Jensen, who was drafted 29th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in 2011, had a cup of coffee in the NHL….playing in only 31 games with 6 points (3g, 3a). Jensen was most recently with the New York Rangers, where he played 7 games for the team during the 2016-2017 season. The Rangers could use some help right now, they should consider giving this dude a call. Through 35 games in the KHL this season, Jensen has 30 points (14g, 16a). Maybe the guy suddenly found his game? Who knows. I just want to see more moves like this on North American soil.
