"He Said He Was Feeling Good" - David Pastrnak Gives (Unofficial) Update On Tuukka Rask
BOSTON GLOBE – Teammate David Pastrnak, here for this weekend’s NHL All-Star festivities, said he exchanged texts with the Finnish stopper on Tuesday — some 72 hours after Rask was felled by charging Ranger forward Filip Chytil.
“I texted him [to see] if he was all good,” said Pastrnak, “and he said he was all good — that was our entire conversation — he said he was feeling good.”
The Bruins have been on their scheduled bye week since last Saturday’s game and quite frankly I’ve been losing my mind. No hockey for 6 days has broken me down. I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, but that’s probably because I have been sick with whatever the fuck is going around the office.
Anyways, David Pastrnak spoke with reporters during media day for NHL All-Star weekend and gave an update on B’s netminder Tuukka Rask, who suffered a concussion after a collision against the Rangers.
Great news. Albeit unofficial and things can change, but Tuukka earlier in the week saying he was good is a great sign. Rask might need some more time to recover (more than the 10 days), but we’ll find out when the boys are back for practice on Monday at Warrior Ice Arena. They host the Winnipeg Jets Tuesday night at TD Garden. Finally.
