Nothing Like Going To A Heat Game And Getting Tossed Down Multiple Rows By Police
First off, this is a shit ton of people in attendance to see the Miami Heat play the Chicago Bulls. That might be a most surprising thing about this entire video. Anyways, the video starts off a little slow I’ll admit, but boy did it pick up steam quick. When the video first started I was expecting them to come up to some guy who was just an absolute drunken disaster, but for the most part that guy seemed pretty calm. What was the problem? Well…
Miami police said Adrain Mato, 23, was arguing with other fans in section 102, yelling and swinging his arms in an aggressive manner.
According to an arrest affidavit, an officer approached Mato and asked him to calm down, but Mato continued screaming. Police said the officer could smell alcohol on Mato’s breath.
What does swinging your arms in an aggressive manner mean? Like was he just giving him the finger or something? Maybe a little suck my dick motion? The next part made me laugh too. Oh the officers smelt alcohol on his breath? Yeah dude he’s watching Heat play the Bulls of course he’s going to be hammered. You try watching those two teams play sober. Again I’m not seeing an issue here, so he talked some shit and was a little drunk, big deal. But then…
When a second officer approached and told Mato he would have to leave, Mato again refused to comply and took a “fighting stance,” the affidavit said.
Maybe I’m crazy, but I didn’t see a fighting stance there. I saw this dude get pulled up from this chair and have both of his arms grabbed. How was he trying to start a fight?
Bad news for this guy though it was far too late. The cops made the decision it was time to tussle and there’s no winning in that situation. Seems like he was resisting but also it was kind of fucked up they pulled him up like that. That cop also went right into punching him in the face which seemed a little aggressive. This guy was pretty calm in his chair and look maybe he’s a huge Heat fan that didn’t want to leave early. Dwyane Wade only has so many games left you know what I mean? The worst part of this whole situation was the fact that this dude was apparently on vacation
Police said Mato elbowed one of the officers and kicked at them before he was eventually carried out of the arena.
Mato faces charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer.
Through a translator, Mato told a judge Thursday he was vacationing in Miami and is supposed to return home Sunday.
I’m sure he did elbow one of the officers, I would be pretty pissed if they just tossed me down multiple rows like that. At that point you probably have no idea what’s going on and your survival instincts kick in. Imagine you’re just minding your own business watching the game and then out of nowhere you get trampled by two cops and a drunk asshole on top of watching shitty basketball? That would suck. Not as much as it now sucks for this dude who definitely will not be flying home on Sunday, but it would be a pretty big inconvenience.
All I know is, maybe I have to head to Miami for a Heat game? I mean one night you have a Royal Rumble in the stands, the next night you have fans running onto the court in between free throws
I know people think fans don’t care about basketball in Miami, but they always seem to have outrageous things happen during their games so it might be worth the trip. Miami Heat basketball so hot right now (not really). Miami Heat basketball.
