Nick Saban Loves "Deez Nuts" Jokes

When you think of Nick Saban, you think of winning, sideline freakouts, and press conference rants:

You know what you don’t think of? Nick Saban going around telling internet jokes. As he has told us before, he doesn’t have the internet:

Even though he doesn’t have the internet, according to Josh Jacobs, Nick is a big fan of telling “deez nuts” jokes:

Just something funny for a coach to try and translate and get to know to each player.

I pride myself in knowing a decent amount about college football, but I must say “how about you hold deez?” is something I would’ve never guessed Nick Saban has said.

I wouldn’t put it past Saban to become a master of internet meme culture for the purpose of recruiting. A master may be pushing it, but if Saban sees that knowing internet humor pays off for him in recruiting, he may hire an assistant that is strictly used to let Saban know about the latest trends. If he is looking for somebody like that, I’d love to be a consultant. Talk about a dream job.
