Collin Delia Signs A 3-Year Extension With The Blackhawks

Well this was a good start to the day. Collin Delia got a good deal. $1m per year for 3 years for guy who was in the Coast last year is the type of story that warms your heart. He earned that deal. And this is a great deal for the Blackhawks too. Delia could be a #1 goalie at some point(if he isn’t already) and he’s absolutely a good backup already. This provides the Blackhawks with some stability at a position where they have none. Cam Ward is gone after this year and Crawford’s future is still very much up in the air.

If I were Stan Bowman…I’d sign Scott Darling next year as well if he gets bought out. That’d give them another layer of depth and insurance at a low price. Things are starting to be put in place.
