Hold on. Let me show you a visual of the Kentucky fan base after reading this:

This is literally the best news you could read today if you’re a Kentucky fan. I tried warning you if you weren’t a Kentucky fan not to read this. But, if you are still reading allow me to explain.

You see, Louisville is in Kentucky. There are a million Kentucky fans in Louisville. Kentucky fans go to NCAA Tournament games. That will be a home game for Kentucky. That’s MASSIVE.

We hear about where games are played in the NCAA Tournament all the time but this is a bit of a unique one. This actually makes a ton of sense and something I hope the committee keeps doing going forward. Instead of punishing Kentucky (or another 2 see) for being the 5th/6th best team in the country and sending them away from home, you get rewarded. There are only a few schools/locations that can actually build up controversy like this, but if Duke wants the No.1 seed in that region and Kentucky is that No. 2 seed, it just happens.
