Congrats To Chris Davis On Setting The MLB Record For Most Consecutive Hitless At-Bats! We're Witnessing Baseball History!

There it is folks!!! Move over, Eugenio Velez!!!! Chris Davis came into the game 0 for his last 44, only needing 2 more hitless at-bats to tie the all-time record. He did that in the first few innings and set the record in the 5th when he flew out to left. You love seeing a guy work and work and work to set these records, that is what Chris has done. This hitless streak stretches alllll the way back to September 14th…..2018. His last hit was a double off of James Shields, it's been goose eggs ever since then for The Crusher. Coming into tonights game he was 0/23 with 13 Ks, at least he hit the ball hard in the outs he made in the record setting game. I remember when the Orioles traded for him, I just knew he would be setting records in an Orioles uniform.
Add the Chris Davis game to the Cal Ripken "2131" game in Orioles history. I'll never forget where I was when Chris went hitless in 47 straight at-bats. It has to be harder to that than it is to hit in 47 straight games…. The only question now is how long does this thing go on? We talking 50 at-bats? 60? Do I hear 70? Stay tuned!
Congrat$ Chri$, I hope you enjoy all the benefit$ of $etting record$!
