Dougie Hamilton Had The 'Fuck You' Of The Century Last Night

Dougie Hamilton gets a ton of shit. Whether it’s for being afraid to get hit by Alexander Ovechkin or the fact he’s always rumored to be on the trade block for some weird reason, I think everyone can admit they have made a Dougie Hamilton joke here or there. All of that was thrown out the window when Hamilton gave the fuck you off the century to Brock Nelson after the Carolina Hurricanes swept the Islanders last night.

Let’s start from the beginning. Josh Bailey scored a goal in Game 3 and Brock Nelson immediately patted Curtis McEihinney on the helmet. A pretty big fuck you to McEihinney and the entire Hurricanes team if we are being honest. Tough look when you are down 2-0 in the series too.

So Hamilton, who people always say isn’t liked by his teammates, sticks up for his guy and returns the favor to Brock Nelson following last night’s win. While the two went through the handshake line, Hamilton gave Nelson a nice pat on the head after the two shook hands. Nelson actually looked like he was going to murder him.

I’ll tell you what, if Dougie Hamilton wasn’t liked or respected in the Hurricanes locker room before last night’s game, he sure as shit is now. Ultimate team guy move right there.
